Upcycle an Button Down Shirt into a Packing Cube

Packing Cube Materials

Turn your button down shirt inside out. Mark a straight line below the sleeves and cut a straight line.  Pin in Place.

Mark one line straight above the hem line. Mark two straight lines going down on both sides. Then sew all the way around where you marked the lines. Cut excess and finish your edges.

Pop out the corners by separating the back and front, making a triangle. Measure and mark on both sides using the same measurement. Connect the two marks to create a straight line and pin in place. Repeat on all the corners.

Sew all the straight lines you just drew and repeat on all corners. Then trim the excess fabric and finish your edges.

Open a button and turn it back to the right side.

Fill your packing cube with your stuff and voila! Ready to be put in your suitcase for your next adventure!
